Mine aren't yellow but a bit scratched and could use a refresh.

I used spray max 2k clear coat on two of my other cars. One didn't go well at all, hardly better than I started with, and I ended up vinyl tinting them. Another went incredibly well, like magic, like l have brand spanking new headlights. I don't want to mess up mine so curious to what people have done and how the GT headlights might react.

Not a fan of clearing them on any car...I have seen some that look like hell...I just refinish mine every few years when they get hazing looking again...J

Did you sand them down and polish prior to the clear coat?

Wet sanded at 600, 1000, and 1500. Then hit with the 2k clear. It was like magic. It now makes my GT headlights look tired and old.

I did 1000 and worked my way up to 5000, then hit with two coats of clear. Turned out great! It was my first time doing it.
