Turbo, You still looking for a Spyder GT? Traded mine in here and am sure they would take low 60's to move it and you could get it trucked out to you. They list it as cambio, which it's not and left out the fact it has a Tubi. Plus still has almost 3 years of warranty left. Just click on Lexus, Then pre-owned cars

Scott, you sold your Spyder :( What did u replace it with ?

I'm still researching my next purchase.
The 355 has pretty much been eliminated. No Warranty & too many Issues.

I've got it down to 2.
A C6Z06 or 1 of these :

Your Ex-Maser is Sharp, but i prefer the Blu Nettuno & Matching Blue Top.
I wonder what the Choice on this Site would be ?

Does anyone have any info about the Extended Warranty ?
It's not Nice to Ignore the Noob

After going thru 5 sports cars in the last 7 years I have come to the conclusion I am paying a lot of money for something I can't use as intended. Unless you get to the track occasionally there is just no place to have any fun especially with the big crack down going on here in Massachusetts. Use to like going off roading so I have decided to get a little more into that for awhile and bought a Lexus GX 470 with sport package. The thing is awesome and loaded with luxury including a Mark Levinson stereo, A nav that works great and even has the rear DVD which my 6 year old loves. For 2005 they upped the HP and torque and the thing actually moves along pretty quick and takes any road condition extremely smooth. Most people don't think it has real off road capability but was named 4 wheel vehicle of the year for two years straight by 4 wheeler magazine, Beating out even the Hummer 2 on off road ability. Only 43 so figure in a couple of years I can have my mid life crisis and possible get a red 430 Spider.
About your warranty question, Have never heard much on it but would assume from hearing about cost to fix Maserati's, will be very expensive and would make it smarter to buy something with a couple years left on original warranty.

I'll make room in my Garage to store your Spider :D

Very good choices, IMHO. After owning a '97 355 Berlinetta for approx. 3 months, I would have to agree with your assessment in that regard.

Had also planned on selling the 355 and ordering a C6Z06 later this year, but I had already bought the wife an '01 C5 in Feb. so we didn't really "need" two 'Vettes.

Ended up trading the 355 in for a new '05 Maserati Coupe Cambio (Blu Nettuno exterior with Avorio/Blu Medio/Blu interior, and am thoroughly enjoying the car thus far. The whole family can ride along, and the wife can drive it too. Full factory 4-year warranty to boot -- life is good! :D
I have an 02, and I have been told by the dealer to expect availability at the beginning of 2006. Prices are supposed to be similar to the currently oferred Ferrari warranty. Check your region for exact prices.
I will have to make a a decision in December of 06. Do I get an extended warranty and kep the car, or do i trade up to a 360/Gallardo and a cheap driver (well used 300E Merc, or something). I think I will keep my vintage V12 Ferrari.
