My 2006 Gransport airbag light came on after i unplugged the steering wheel airbag to repair the faded/cracked leather covering the airbag , after plugging it back on, the aribag light went on. any suggestion on how to reset it or is it going to reset itself later??

If it doesn't clear with a battery disconnect then it is not gonna clear...You'll need software to clear it...Not just OBD2...You don't want to unplug the air bag with the key in position #2.....Jason

hell, i disconnect the battery, pump the brakes, have a smoke, then get to work on airbags.
not really a roulette i want to be playing.

as for your light, are you sure you seated the connector and the plastic insert fully? matched colors?

ill work on it this weekend, hopefully it clears
its just annoying cause i quoted $270 to have the car scanned and reset.
complete non-sense for just rest a light, specially i know nothing wrong with the airbags.

I have the exact same problem, it does not go away. I will check if any aftermarket scanners will work:(
