It's true. All of it...have tried the British and the Germans, as well as the Italians. All have their peccadilloes...but...Old humor about Lucas Electric.. systems many ( or most ) British cars used quite a bit, I hear . Much maligned, becoming just about legendary, although no idea if it‘s only a grain of truth that has been blown out of proportion for the sake of humor ..or, if it really was that crappy..

Temporarily deleted …having technical difficulties with a video 😔
This is driving me batty ! I’m trying to post a funny video ( a TikTok one ) , and I’ve posted videos previously here without any problem, but for some reason I can’t attach this particular clip .. It‘s saved on my iPad but I can’t retrieve it using the below tab bar’s find and select options ( photos or the paper clip icon ) nor using a copy and paste option. It pastes only the url but the link is not enabled . And if you copy and enter that link into a search engine , it won’t open anything .
Any ideas ?

Maybe check the iPad's EGR valve...? Could also be that the gas cap isn't tight.
It might also be low on fluid . I think IPads use thermometer-grade mercury, so I’ll have to check the fill level .

Lol, mine was blue. Had that jacket for years! I can't remember ever being denied entry anywhere.Question : so to get access past the velvet rope all you have to do is wear one of these ‘80s “classics” m.o. jackets, right ?

😁 . Blue is my favorite color, but I remember it was consistently sold out everywhere when I was looking for one. So I bought that “sand“ color, just like the one in the photo. Actually, they were fairly nice jackets ( for those times..) in spite of the cheesy brand name , and the irony considering they sold tens of millions of them ..members only..
yeah, of an exclusive club of about half of the male population in the U.S.🙃Unfortunately my jacket shrunk just a few years later . I must have been caught in the rain with it once .. 😜
