The National Park Rangers are advising hikers to be alert for bears and take extra precautions to avoid an encounter.
They advise park visitors to wear little bells on their clothes so they make noise when hiking. The bell noise allows bears to hear them coming from a distance and not be startled by a hiker accidentally sneaking up on them. This might cause a bear to charge.
Visitors should also carry a pepper spray can just in case a bear is encountered. Spraying the pepper into the air will irritate the bear's sensitive nose and it will run away.
It is also a good idea to keep an eye out for fresh bear droppings so you have an idea if bears are in the area where you’re hiking . People should be able to recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear droppings .

Actually I just realized it’s my misguided thought .. look at the very first post on this thread :
A man travels to Mexico on vacation and while at a flea market, he notices a merchant selling various skulls, most of which were priced similarly , except for one that was many times more expensive than the others. So he asks the merchant why that skull is so pricey ? The merchant tells him that’s the skull of the famous conquistador Hernan Cortes, who defeated the Aztecs , but later died of an illness while in Mexico. He then produces a certificate of authenticity, and seeing that, the man decides to buy the skull .
A year goes by, and the man returns to Mexico again on vacation. Visiting the same flea market he sees the same merchant with an assortment of skulls placed on the table.. But this time, with a very small skull being the most expensive of the bunch . So he walks up to the merchant and wants to know the reason for that particular skull’s price. The merchant tells him the skull belongs to the famous conquistador Hernan Cortes . At that point the man says : Wait a darn minute, last year you sold me a skull and told me that’s the one who belonged to the famous conquistador Hernan Cortes ! And this skull is a lot smaller ! After pausing for a couple of seconds the merchant replies : Yes, it was..but you see senor, this one is his skull from when he was a child !
