Looks only
1. Fisker karma ( now just karma)
2. Model S plaid
3. Lucid looks like a Lincoln
Neighbor has a Tesla plaid most incredible speed I’ve ever been in. Under 2 sec 0-60 and does 9’s 1/4 mile. Tons and tons of tech in that thing
Never understood the boring to drive comments just because it doesn’t make noise.
Only thing ever mentioned about tesla is acceleration....one trick pony. I think some of the newer Lincolns are quite stylish btw. Aviator in particular. Too bad the idiots at Ford wouldn't let me order one sans 3rd row or I'd own it over my RR for 40K less

Even the Levante S has a great soundtrack

Most I hear is the tech involved with the car and how many Tesla superchargers are now avail across the country. Who cares if it’s a one trick pony when it’s capable of beating 99% of super cars 0-60 and 1/4 mile Sounds like sour grapes
unless you’re tracking the car 👍
The GT looks great!

I don't feel insecure enough to give a shi! about red light wars anymore....because I track my cars...a lot. Again, numbers are only one aspect of the experience. Tesla gave us the hideous tablet velcroed to the dash look we are stuck with now. No sour grapes jus t 'I, for one, care less for them".
BTW how long does it take that plaid to prep itself for a 2 second launch? I'm in the next county by then.................

sure you are lol
without prep 2.2 all you’ll see is the PLAID badge and tail lights
You do realize that most people are concerned with the 0 to 60 and 1/4 just because you’re not doesn’t mean the masses are.
less than 1% actually track cars their car. Velcro tablet ? Ok you mean on a base m3. The funny thing is most people who have never been in a performance version Tesla like to spew lots of misinformation. However, when you’ve actually driven the car, you understand.

This just for giggles

My wife has an Aviator and while she didn't want 3rd row seating, now that she has it, she doesn't notice that the seats are there. She had a Range Rover Sport supercharged, but she MUCH prefers the Aviator!

We have a 2020 Aviator w/ just over 11k miles on it. We keep the 3rd row seat down 99% of the time as it's just my wife, 2 daughters and me. We love it for traveling - the seats are some of the most comfortable I've ever ridden in. And it has enough "get up and go" to make it ok to drive.

While I don't care for Teslas particularly, that is insane fast. Period. I wonder what the hit to the battery is after doing one of those 171MPH runs? 40%? 50%?

As I guy that's raced RC cars since the 90's, there's no doubt that the electric cars are faster, accelerate harder, and are much more challenging to drive. That being said, having a fossil fuel driven engine (RC, Boat, Car, Truck, Lawnmower, whatever) just has a much sexier sound.

I just can't see myself jumping on the electric bandwagon when all the electric is being generated by fossil fuels AND there's now a battery disposal problem. Seems that everyone's just exchanged beer for liquor. Still gonna hurt ya either way.

Indeed. But ..not allowed to show the dashboard ? What’s that all about ? 😟. And.. the owner won’t be able to open hood / bonnet ? Another head scratcher ..
I think Maserati just wants to keep at least one thing un-unveiled for the official premiere in early 2023 😀.

The bonnet thing surely is for the Folgore version only, no?

I have been aware for the majority of my life that the masses are comprised of a LARGE number of idiots and at the same time, 90+% of them have a far lower IQ than I do......:geek:...........I have instructed a student in a Model 3 performance on track, so I have more experience in Tesla than most folks will ever dream of. I have more fun teaching in Miatas where car control can actually be taught. You can't get around the weight. It is the holy grail of driving to this day. The higher the series level, the more critical weight becomes. Are they fast, hell yea, am I having more fun....I certainly think so. Will an EV be in my future....undoubtedly. Will it be a tesla....doubtful. Model X and winter don't play well together. R1s on my short list. Lotus Electre...I will be demoing that ride! Evija gets some lottery ticket winnings!
We also had a guy on track with us last fall at Lime Rock in a crazy modded Model 3 , wicked camber all the go fast goodies. First time I've seen something EV like this. Guy drove like a complete psycho all day till the laws of physics caught up with him (btw laps were in the 54-55 second range which is faster the Challenge, Cup cars etc). He blew threw turn entry at turn 4 and badly mutilated the car, complete loss!! He would do 10-15 minute sessions and run up to the Tesla chargers....so he could lap a field of GT4 cup cars but would lose in the end due to inadequate juice.......so I guess you could say he'd see plenty of ICE tail lights from the pit lane.
I truly hate Tesla interiors! The exterior silhouette of a Model S can be quite striking from certain angles. It certainly isn't as sexy as the 2024 GTS to bring us back on point.

I would much rather have had that space under the seats for MY stuff, not 100 lbs of never to be used seats. Just like being forced to get an operational sunroof you never intend to open. So much BS on cars now that you should be able to order without esp if you are doing a custom order.
No remove list would include
NO Adaptive crap. Totally unimpressed
NO operational sunroof. Just glass with a visor. This is the worstkind of excess weight...above COG
NO 3rd row seats. Weight is the enemy

Had not seen any pics of the interior until saw the below posted on LinkedIn by Maserati.

Vehicle Car Gear shift Motor vehicle Steering part

Thought it looked pretty unique until Google images told me its essentially the same design they have in the upcoming Grecale SUV. Rather disappointing to have an SUV and GT share the same interior design. What the hell Maserati?

Here in Switzerland, the base prices for the combustion versions of the new Granturismo have been announced:
Maserati GranTurismo Modena (490 PS) from CHF 202'100.00 (incl. free service)
Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo (550 PS) from CHF 250'100.00 (incl. free service)
I would say these are bold prices...

In comparison, the base prices of the MC20:
Maserati MC20 from CHF 240'450.00
Maserati MC20 Cielo (Spider) from CHF 271'500.00

Maserati thus positions the Trofeo higher than the MC20, which is exciting.

I have already configured my "dream" Granturismo Trofeo once and ended up at around CHF 280,000.00. That's over CHF 100,000.- more than I paid for my fully equipped new Granturismo Sport in 2018. I think that's a bit much for an extra 90 PS and all-wheel drive...

I am surprised the Gran Turismo is priced so close to the MC20.
How does it compare to its competitors from other brands?
