I used LVC Exotic rental. They were amazing to deal with. they have a bunch of cool cars. Interestingly, they had BOTH a '22 and '20 Conti. i think the 20 was a W-12, the 22 a V-8. The interior on the '20 looked like a nicer version of an old car. The '22 looked like a spaceship. ;)

the older ones are quite a bargain now. They are relatively reliable (except the convertibles), but its hard for me now to be satisfied with the old skool. Honestly an EV Conti sounds so perfect right now. It's totally in character - hushed top speed.

I’m all about analog, can’t stand overkill technology which makes my car‘s dashboard look like X-mas tree lights, so if I buy a Bentley it’s going to be as many years old as it needs to be to have just the bare minimum tech in it. I only need the bluetooth and a GPS..nothing else. 😌
Heck, even my 2013 GTs has more tech than I want .. 🥺
As long as the electronic functions don't patronize me, functions I can ignore, the whole thing doesn't bother me that much. Where I'm with you is when important controls move to the computer, such as climate control or the like. That can be very tedious.

The more “mature“ I get the better a Bentley Continental GT starts looking to me ..and I know my wife would absolutely love it ..could become my next and last sedan.
That said, I’m never changing my 2013 MaseratI GTs for a newer one, I find no compelling reason to do that, and have zero interest in the 2024 .
Had one. Lovely thing. Just wasn't for me. Maybe I'm too young :D

Only 1 k in a day....That's nothin.............455 miles................1 charge stop....yes we can do that non stop now.............Lucid has that one already covered.

The GTS styling is a timeless classic. Still looks 100% current in my eyes. Don't get this, Porche keeps a design for 60yrs and no complaints......................

I also find it amusing how many folks sell their GTS cuz the head unit, electronics is supposedly obsolete...yet this will obviously be state of the art electronics...........including the "engine" and already neasayers exist.

looks amazeballs. I'll say it again. I'm so happy they used evolutionary styling. It builds on the legacy of the Gen1 GT and keeps the original car relevant - vs making it completely obsolete..

Who knows, it may even help support the values of the gas V8 cars.

It reminds me of Gen 1 vs Gen 2 Bentley continental GT styling. Subtle changes to update the look but the lines of the first are more effortless. Looks like designers stuck some scoops and contours just for the purpose of making it look different. Also those headlights are straight up last generation Corvette.

What will make a big impact here is what they did with the interior. It's a grand tourer after all.

OK I see new photos of a WHITE GT on Top Gear and I must admit I DO now like the new look. The "pinkish" California color was NOT doing it for me (looked "wimpy" and non aggressive) but when I see it in white is DOES look SHARP! Opinion has changed for the better!

Nothing lasts forever. F136 motor has been amazing but this new powerplant is also very special. With Maserati's skill set with exhausts I'm sure it too, will sound fabulous. Hell, the v6 on my Evora sounds amazing.......especially with 2bular exhausts.

Biggest issue I have with Tesla is that fat lower lip look. Model S is reasonably good looking. The over sized tablet does not impress me. The others esp the Model X just don't remotely attract me. Now the Lucid Air is a Beautiful clean sheet deign IMO. And as a GT car meant to drive long distances, just as in my GTS, silence is golden. Its the only time I take 30 seconds, pull out the golf tee, and reconnect the exhaust valves. I want to see what Lucid gives us for a more usable vehicle in a few years. It is my intent to go EV for the long distance vehicle in the future as this is where I will see its benefits most profoundly.
BTW I rarely bother driving with the exhaust open on the Quad as in Dynamic mode, its just too much of a beast!!! Damn near killed me on cold fn PZeros last month............
Looks only
1. Fisker karma ( now just karma)
2. Model S plaid
3. Lucid looks like a Lincoln
Neighbor has a Tesla plaid most incredible speed I’ve ever been in. Under 2 sec 0-60 and does 9’s 1/4 mile. Tons and tons of tech in that thing
Never understood the boring to drive comments just because it doesn’t make noise.

Honestly I love what they've done with it. A slightly modernized version of the original. Keeps that sexy look and classy styling. Love the interior too! I know it'll never sound like the original V8 but hopefully they can keep the V6 version sounding decent.
