Hi all. I need to schedule service for my 2007 QP and the dealer mentioned I need to get 31K service done with spark plug changes, etc. The thing is that my owners manual does not show that service. I think Maserati changed the service intervals starting 2007. Mine only shows 12.5K, 25K, 37.5K mile service and spark plug replacement at 75K miles. I always get oil change once a year around 7K mile intervals. Is anyone else with 2007 and later QP's getting the bigger 31K service or just following the manual?

Without knowing the specific reason, this is purely speculation........ They may use a different sparkplug to meet our emission/fuel economy requirements. They may also base it on our average mileage/time ratio and recommend replacement every 5 years to prevent dissimilar metals from seizing to each other over time. Just my theories.
