Someone I spoke with (sales guy) claimed that there was a Special Edition Coupe for the 2002 model year. Presumably this had a color-matched leather dash, steering wheel, and headliner. It supposedly had a few other unique items that the other coupes didn't.

Can anyone confirm that such a Special Edition Coupe actually exists?

Notice that the top of the dashboard and bottom of the doors is color-matched to the seats (not black like most coupes).

Was this a special option of some sort?

no such thing as a 2002 special edition.

you can order the different color dash/trims to your choice.
