Just sold my viper and looking for something to drive around for a little until I sell my other car. I found an 05 with about 69k miles on it, was wondering what it was worth buying for and what could I resell it for as a quick sale? It has all service records, and clutch was replaced about 15k ago with paperwork for that also. It is a clean title, but has an accident on the carfax in 06 with "Minor Damage reported" where the rear bumper was hit slightly at a light?

Anyways would $25k be a good price to buy it for? And if I needed to resell would I get around that?

Thanks!

Sounds like a good price.

I think $25 would be a steal. Get a PPI from a knowledgeable source to be sure there aren't any expensive surprises waiting for you.

I agree. A low price. A thorough PPI is needed to make sure that the deal is not too good to be true.

15k might be towards the end of the clutch service life. That's what the PPI is for of course! Factor EVERYTHING in and then drive a hard bargain! You can always end up at around $25K when all is said and done!

BTW What are the specifics? Is it base? Exec GT? Options? Color? Piping? blah blah Etc. etc.

Thanks for the responses, makes me feel better about the price lol!

I am not sure what specifics it has, I believe it's all stock, and it is light blue ext, with tan interior.

Unfortunately the nearest Ferrari or Maserati dealer is about 150miles+, so I will just have to take the risk that the clutch might need replacement, but I will be bringing up ny mechanics computer which he services his Maserati with

Edit: is there anything specific I should look out for? Thanks

..

I'm also in the market for one, I came across a 2005 QP owned locally, dealer maintained with 70k on the odo, it was listed for 22k. I'm looking for an auto so 07' or better but I called on it anyway just to see if the seller was getting interest locally, he told me it sold a few days prior for 19k.

Just thought the info would be helpful...

Wow! 19k for a QP. I am really surprised. Anyone out there that wants to sell me one for under $20 please send PM. Clean titles only.
