Is the dashboard in our cars leather? I have Zaino'd everything but I haven't touched the dash at all. Just a damp detail towel. Anyway I know the doors have to be leather but the dash could be something else.

Before I put anything on it I just wanted to know for sure.

Thanks! 2500 miles and pretty happy!!

Anybody having trouble with the center console cd player skipping when going over the slightest of bump??? And I mean slightest!!!

I believe the dash is indeed real leather, but someone else may be able to report for certain.

As far as the CD player is concerned, I too noticed skipping of the CD with small road bumps. Sometimes, it seemed to skip when I was driving on smooth pavement. The CD changer seemed to be much better about not skipping.

It is leather and I've been told to clean with just a damp towel as you've been doing... what is "Zaino"???

The CD player skips because it also acts as the bump-O-meter :D

...nah seriously... are you playing original CDs or CDs you burn yourself??? I've had that happen on CD's I burn myself, not in my Maserati but in some of my other cars... try playing an original CD or maybe one burned by a friend the problem might be on your burns.
Let us know...

Zaino is a premier car wax and polish manufacturer. You can't find it at the PEP boys. It is also quite a bit dearer than Turtle Wax. They prolly do an interior cleaner/conditoner as well. The boys at the Ferrari chat BB seem to like the stuff a lot.

Thanks for the tip Dolle.

No PEP Boys here anyway, for those interested I looked it up on the web and found this http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc

What do you mean by "quite a bit dearer" than Turtle Wax...??? I'm interested in knowing because Turtle Wax is what I use. As you can see in my avatar my car is black and you know what a pain is to keep those colors looking good.

Zaino is the bomb. It is a polymer, not a regular wax. They also sell all the other things you need. It goes on easy and you can do multiple coats in a day. Use the ZFX. On your black car it will be real nice.

They also have a great spray you can use in between washes to touch the car up.

Great stuff.
