My father left me a 1,000$ inheritence when he passed away when I was much younger, after my first car got totaled I needed a new car and I didn't know what I was going to do.
The AE86 Corollas are really popular because they are the last year that Toyota made them Rear-wheel Drive, and I found one for sale for an absolute steal at 1,000$. I asked my mom if she could help me and she said there wasn't much she could do to help me, but I mentioned the car to my grandma and she told me about the money.
My father technically bought me this car, despite his "condition"

Drivetrain
Imported 20 valve Silvertop 4A-GE swapped into it, deciding whether I want to turbo it.
Interior
Still under construction, planning on deleting my Heater/AC face and adding an aftermarket stereo in it's place.
Exterior
GTS Rear and front bumpers, aiming to purchase a Japanese spec set of bumpers within the year.
Also trying to hunt down a J-Blood one piece TRD wing replica hatch.

Wheel and Tire
Swapped GTS Snowflake rims, have two sets and I currently have the worse of the two on the car until I get the nice set acid washed and looking better.
