I have a 2002 Spyder with well under 10k miles, great car near perfect except for the dreaded sticky buttons. Actually my buttons weren't sticky they were down right gooey, I could not even drive the car without ruining what ever I was wearing. Did some research on our forums here and found that member Lorenz-06MT was restoring these. I reached out to him was given a great price and the best removal instruction that could be had and I shipped them to him.
Within a week they were on the way back and must tell ya I didn't really know what to expect...I knew he wasn't going to use the emblem stickers ya see on eBay but I figured what ever he did above that would be an improvement. Let me tell yall, they came out absolutely OEM! I have no idea how he was able to completely replicate how they were done at the Maserati factory in 2002 but he did,
I can not give more praise to the entire process working with Lorenz..it was perfect. IF you have sticky button don't hesitate to send him a PM and get it done, you will thank me (and him) later! I added a quick pic and I haven't detailed the interior or cleaned up my finger prints etc but just look at the buttons and knobs...PERFECT1 Thank you Larry!!!!

He reconditioned all of my buttons a few years back. I agree, quality work and quick turn around. I love when you can touch a button without getting grossed out. I de-stickied all of the solid black surfaces in my GT. The car is now sticky free for the next owner to enjoy. Thanks again Larry.

I am so glad that worked out and at some point I will spend the $ to get the balance of my parts done by the pro. If you want to spend the time and not the money, a DIY is to methodically clean the buttons with Spray9 which can be bought at NAPA Stores around the country. Be careful and tape off everything, this is strong stuff! It cleans the goo, but Lorenz or Sticky RX is the way to go.
