I'd contemplated wrapping my GT a couple years ago. Price range is all over the place depending on how reputable the place is and what color/material you choose. I've had quotes anywhere from $800-$5,000.

Is your rear diffuser aftermarket, and how much did you pay in total for the whole wrap?
Thank you, Ladi
Yes it's by Maxton Design in the UK. You should be able to find them on ebay as well. It's priced really well. The wrap cost $3k (canadian).

Yeah it's variable. The cost of the media dictates most of the price fluctuation. For example, Avery chrome series would be around $4-5k depending on whether it's satin or mirror chrome, but Vvivid or Inozetek standard gloss series would be around $1500-1800. I used teckwrap which was $1000 cheaper than Avery's similar offering. Still good quality wrap but I think they offer much more unique colors than Avery.

Looks like I need to do a bit of a shakedown if they gave me the same price for a convertible as what you paid for the coupe.
Check your dm's.

Price I paid was reduced since I've done work with them before and keep in touch with the owner. They do excellent work. Most other reputable shops quoted a bit higher and not all offered a 2 year guarantee against lifts and bubbles.

I wanted to do a stealth wrap and was given a quote of $6000 in indiana... i feel like its too much
What are they wrapping it with? 24K gold? Lol.

Spending $6K to wrap a car worth maybe $40K is a bit insane. However, I've seen people spend $10K on wheels to put on a $5K Honda so insanity is everywhere I guess.

Curious as to what the maintenance is on wraps.

Can you still wax the car or is that unnecessary?

How would you fix scratches or tears?

You aren't supposed to wax wraps as it can dissolve the adhesion around the seams. However, you can ceramic coat it. Also with finishes like matte and satin, you don't really need to wax or polish it. Chrome wraps and gloss scratch quite easily and you can't do much about that. But if you tore the wrap, you can just re-wrap the panel.

There is also another option for color change. You can do a liquid wrap too. You can achieve any color you want as it goes on like paint, except it has self healing properties. So if you dragged your key along it, the 'mark' will disappear in a few minutes. You can't achieve any finish though like with vinyl. Both options can last up to 5+ years. Because I don't drive in the winter or rain, the wrap will last a LOT longer of course.
