Why the need to be a jack-ass about it?That's actually a reflection. It is very flush with the car and not on the raised area. It actually goes over the entire raised part and about 55 degrees. Get some fucking glasses my man.

I'm talking about the rear, head-on shot where you see part of the raised lid (built-in spoiler). The aftermarket spoiler doesn't completely cover that which is why you can see the "spoiler on top of another spoiler" effect. This is main reason why installers discourage those with raised lids to not install another rear spoiler over it. It makes the whole thing look odd. It works on the MC and those with flat trunks because there is no raised lip in the back.
But as others have said, it's your car and as long as you're happy, so be it.
Not everybody's gonna like a certain mod. That's what these car forums are for......to share opinions. And I'm entitled to my mine just as much as you're entitled to yours. No need to get all bent out-of-shape because we differ.
I agree. No need to be an asshole and share your opinion if you don’t like something. For example, that red interior is fucking horrendous. Looks like bright red lipstick. Seriously, that is the ugliest interior color I have seen. I don’t just share this opinion though for no reason unless I want to be an an asshat like you.

Not everybody is expected to like your attempt to improve on a Pinninfarina design regarded by many as one of their finer efforts, ever. I, for one, although not a big fan of black cars, think that red interior with the black exterior , is STUNNING, and if presented with that one v mine...the choice would be tough esp ,if both were new as mine was March 2019.
I held off with my true feelings, but seen as you have declared war, your rear spoiler attempt shows a total lack of aesthetic common sense. It tries to say "look at me", as if the vehicle needs any help. Last time I saw a hoop look rear spoiler was on a mid 1990's Eclipse and evenas a young guy,. I thought it was completely tacky then also. It will definitely appeal to the camber crowd (now those folks are the biggest losers ever, something truly dangerous esp in the rain) , but not to those of us with more moderate views of aesthetics and respect for our vehicles. Total disregard to the form over function balance. I suppose you always drive around in 2nd gear to sound racey as well. Have a nice day and I fully expect you will find something to flame me about. I suggest you don't poke the bear. I don't need trivial video s to get the job done. Peace and accept it.

Earlier in the thread you said you appreciated the opinion but disagreed. Fine, move on then. Why the need to keep insulting people?
If you have such a thin skin, why join a car enthusiast forum? You know in these forums, people will say whatever they want about a car or a mod. You can't control that. You should know better.
I'm fine with people saying crap about my cars or mods, but once you start insulting or verbally abusing people and making things personal, that's when you cross the line. Don't temp the moderators. Keep it civil.

I just pop the trunk when I need more downforce
I would think Maserati, having spent millions upon millions on research and aerodynamics engineering would have put a spoiler there if they felt that it would make any difference to improved braking...especially on a car capable of 185 mph. Just IMO.
You can always improve it. Just like putting on an x pipe or sports cats improve the car. Brakes are very important! FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT.

“Improve” is subject to personal interpretations : to some, changing the stock exhaust with an Xpipe and / or sports cats is great , but to my ears the result is like changing Pavarotti singing nessun dorma to a screaming Roseanne Barr attempting to “sing” the National Anthem. Same with all the extra splitters, or spoilers , or fender flares , and all the add-ons which significantly alter what I consider one of the most superb, sublime automobiles aesthetics in history . And that’s why all of this ( sound or looks ) is entirely subjective so there is no right or wrong , just different preferences. As many have said here “ your car, your money, do whatever makes you happy “ . No need to attack anyone else’s likes and choices . Well, ok maybe there is a “wrong“ ; if you put curb feelers on your car, expect to be flamed by everyone

OK. That's enough with going after each other. When someone asks opinions about aftermarket mods to an exotic car, we expect there to be plenty of strongly differing opinions. But we will not allow the ad hominem attacks to continue. If you don't have a comment about the mod, just don't post. We generally prefer not to close or delete threads as this is a community of the members and visitors and we feel it is best left that way. So knock off the insults.

thank you. No one asked for an opinion on the mod I went with. The request in the first post was for where people bought one and their opinion on that. If I had wanted nasty red seat guy’s opinion I would have asked.
