I had bought a brand new 2014 Gran Turismo Cabrio with dealer installed front and rear cameras. I don't know who they used to do the work but it is completely integrated and works flawlessly. Very happy with it!
How much did that cost?

Here are the invoice details from a couple of months ago when I added both front and rear cameras:

1 MAS-GT NAV-TV 3 VIDEO INPUTS FOR 09-14 GT MAS-GT $800.00
1 MAS GT F-CAM $550.00
1 CAM7 NAV-TV REAR VISION CAMERA KIT442 CAM7 $219.00
1 RVC1300 ACCELE FRONT VIEW CAMERA RVC1300 $229.99
5 LABOR 5 hours @ $95.00 $475.00

A few comments on prices:

The $800 rear module seems to have some competitors out there for cheaper.

The $550 front camera module allows the front camera to come on with the front parking sensors. If you could live with (or prefer) a simple switch instead, you can avoid that cost.

Also, I'm sure there are camera's out there for $100 range vs the $220 range that my installer used.

Lastly, you could find a shop that has a lower rate than $95/hour.

If you use one of the cheaper rear modules, avoid the front module and go with a simple switch for the front camera, and get $100 cameras, you could get front and rear done for perhaps as low as $1500 total with tax and installation.

Just bought a 2012 GTS with 24k miles, like new! I was looking for a 911 but came across this Maserati on CarGuru like it was meant to Be!
The GTS was Silver over black leather and red stitching, carbon fiber! It was local so I drove it and loved it and bought it!

I agree with this feed, no cameras and can’t upgrade the NAV data up to 2013 are only the only negatives! I’m close to 70 and haven’t had
a car like this since my kids moved on?. Maintenance is already showing me ways to reduce some outrageous costs. It seems as if I mention it’s a Maserati and triple the cost. Crazy! I had a polite disagreement with a local dealership employee that the prescribed maintenance schedule is 2 years or 12.5 k miles. He kept telling me I was on the 7th scheduled maintenance and I told him I was on the mid Year
Oil service as recommended before the 4th service. Am I correct on this?

I have a pearl unit (I had it in my 4C then I realized I did not need it), which can handle the back camera duties fairly well. I have hard wired kits before, and splicing wires is the easy part. It is running the wires through the car that is the difficult and time consuming part. I also use the Bovee unit for streaming. To answer the question above, I would not recommend doing an oil service every two years on any car especially a high revving V8. I bought my car from Algar Ferrari and they did a full service and oil change before they dropped it off to me. If you want to lower your costs, then I'd advise going to an independent shop rather than the dealer. I would advise using your phone for Nav, I find they are far better than anything that are installed in the car. Waze not only give you traffic updates, it will tell you where the police are, just in case you happen to drive over the limit.

I have just started a project to install a hole new multimedia system in my 2008 GRANTURISMO.
I have done a lot of investigation and see many of the upgrades many have done previously, but not really found any of them really good. My idea is the have the original display and bezel 3d scan and then modify the bezel (to 3d print a new bezel) to accommodate a 9" touch screen andriod system with all the feature you desire. Backup camera, Bluetooth connection, steering wheel control and wehicle diagnostics. I have already been sourcing the connectors that is used for the original system so that I can make all the custom harness and the new system can be installed without cutting wires or trim. It must be possible to fit the original system again if you ever wanted to go back. It is the plan to have the original radio installed in the boot as removing it have effect on the the diagnosis and will produces errors in the dash display, y.

I had the Naviplus w/Apple Car Play/Android Auto system installed in my GT several months ago:

What's nice is that you retain the factory look while adding a touch screen. It also comes with a back-up camera.

However, the installation was a bit of a nightmare and customer service was spotty.
