Can anyone please provide any guidance on how to remove and replace the driver's side wiper blade on a 2009 Granturismo with the oem part? The passenger side was easy but the driver's side is proving to be difficult.

Thanks,

Mark

On my '13 MC, it was pretty easy.

First, position the wiper halfway up by turning the car on, activating the wiper, and shutting the car off immediately once the wipers are about halfway.

Next, lift up the tab in the center of the blade frame using a screwdriver or something similar (see photo below) and that should loosen the wiper.

Then, push the wiper frame down towards wiper arm and the whole thing should come off.

After that, install the new wiper in reverse order (I installed a new OEM wiper which fit precisely and which is what I recommend).

after you get it off you can buy a replacement at walmart or autozone just gt the one that has a removable blade , remove it and install it on your maserati arm. no need to change the arm itself. its not hard to do. just get the same size .I think I paid around 8.99

Problem is the removal depends on the fitment currently on there. I've used blades that clip out both longitudinally and transversely. As well as some that don't have clips at all.

One thing to keep in mind is that Bosch Icons are not compatible with the driver side wiper arm of the GT, because ours has that weird pantograph-style arm. The connector on the Bosch Icons is not compatible with this type of arm.

The can be fitted with very little trouble. Basically you put take the mounting piece from the blade, and attach it about half way to the arm. Then put the blade onto the mounting piece. Takes longer to try and describe than to do.
