Hi everyone,

New owner (Grandturismo 4.2 2007) - only had it a few days but very pleased so far.

Couple of little bits of help if possible

1) Jukebox - I've managed to save one CD to it but trying more the "record to jukebox" option is greyed out so not available. Any suggestions?

2) The car will be standing for some months throughout the year whilst we are away. I note that batteries seem to drain quite quickly. Any suggestions for battery optimisers (trickle chargers) that have proved successful?

Thanks

Miles

Congrats on the GranTurismo and welcome to the forum!

For trickle charger, C-TEK makes a good one, it's the same one that Maserati sells actually, they just rebrand it. It's still a good idea to keep the car on a trickle charger vs disconnecting the battery just to save your settings which are more than just radio stations / preferences but also include your vehicle emissions monitoring, etc... and all the learning / adaptions that the vehicle computers have gathered.

For instance, if you were to leave the car disconnected, then connected it to the battery and tried to pass a smog test, the vehicle would actually have to be driven for some time to clear the emissions monitors.

In any case, you certainly don't want to let the car battery drain, so be sure to either disconnect it or run it on a battery tender like the C-Tek

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,
