GT MUCH better quality than a Ghibli ???

I drove my friends GT and really enjoyed it I also like the Ghibli
The Chrysler parts dont bother me I love the design / handling/engine also I believe the GHibli is less expensive to service and insure so going to consider both cars !

The Ghibli seems sharper around the corners than the GT and little lighter on its feet. If you can find a well maintained Ghibli, it seems to be a great buy on the used car market. That being said, the Qporte VI is even a better used buy but is less sporty driving than the Ghibli.

As a daily driver the 16s+ Ghibli are awesome, fast comfortable, unique and very sexy.

The flagship vs entry level description by badhobz is completely correct, it's like comparing a 3 series to a 6 series BMW, there is really no comparison in some areas.

I have a GT and when Maserati / Alfa of St Pete gave me a Ghibli as a daily driver it was fantastic!

OK, I've had both cars, a 2014 Ghibli SQ4 and now a 2014 GTS. Prior to those, I had a 2003 Corvette Z06. I thought the Ghibli was great, beautiful inside and out, quiet and reasonably quick for a 4,200lb car. Yes it had minor quality issues, but all were quickly fixed under warranty. Then a year ago while at the dealer, I saw a used GTS - beautiful, sexy, sleek and exotic, and oh the sound in Sport mode - sweeeet. Anyway, I drove my Ghibli and the GTS on the same country twisty road. In every way, the GTS was better - more planted, better exhaust and stereo sound and most importantly I could average 60mph in the GTS and 50mph in the Ghibli at the same level of confidence.

I'm driving a maxed out White with black rims Ghibli SQ4 for my loaner while I get the standard maintenance done on my 2013 GranTurismo. 2nd time I've had this car to drive. Most notable negatives:
Dash is melting and is lumped up in waves. Is being replaced but wtf?
Rear speaker is blown. Can't help but think the cheap Chrysler speaker that is resting in there couldn't take the abuse.
Visually the car looks great, but my god the interior is uncomfortable. You can bounce up and down on the seats. Think what your head does when it hits a cheap pillow. Same shit.
Car Tramlines like a mofo. Any deviations in the road send it off on a tangent. Here is the classic line of the day from my daughter (who I let drive it). "Dad, it's pretty bad when I like driving moms Toyota more than a Maserati [emoji23]". Lmao.
Nuff said......

Yes I have been thinking about it quite a lot and believe that with time I would regret buying the Ghibli
I drove my friends 2009 GT w sport exhaust and it was chipped a really a FUN experience !
