Just purchased a 17' GT sport and the sales adviser tried connecting my Android phone but we were unsuccessful. We entered the activation code but my phone never discovered the name being broadcast. Anyone else experience this with Android device?
No Andriod, but connecting any device is quirky. A lot of times, i have to manually connect when entering car, by choosing the car's blue tooth name from connection list. No code necessary at this point , just push to connect. However, sometimes it pairs on it's own..Just purchased a 17' GT sport and the sales adviser tried connecting my Android phone but we were unsuccessful. The above is EXACTLY my experience with the IPhone , so it does not seem to be an android -specific issue ..just a gremlin in the GT multimedia unit ..No Andriod, but connecting any device is quirky. Congrats! Mine has been on very good behavior lately as well. Don't get discouraged when it's doesn't pair next time. lolUPDATE: I was finally able to pair my Android phone successfully and was able to send and receive phone call. Since then whenever i get into the vehicle I have been fortunate that it pairs the first time and every time. Thanks for all the responses and personal honest experience.
