Why is it so amazing that these cars can run more than 100,000 miles? They have some of the best designed engined around? Or are you telling me that if you run them a normal 12,000 miles per year you should scrap them after - what- five years?
Here in Dubai quite a few Maserati's run as daily drivers and right now there are 8 for sale with more than 100.000 km on the clock.

If taken well care of - regular service and taking it easy until the oil is warm - then they should last as good as any premium car.

What breaks any good car is too often official dealers quoting obscene amounts for anything ..

02 Coupe GT

I currently have 90k miles on mine. Serviced at 89k and my mechanic said that everything looked flawless. That I should have no worries and to enjoy the drive.

I was about to create a new thread asking this same question. Glad I found this. Really curious in seeing how many more of our cars are at or near the 100k range.

That's not high mileage THIS is...

There is a 2004 Coupe GT on Autotrader with...

211,000+ miles

No it's not a typo
It was sold at auction a couple of years ago with 209,000

I suggest all owners take a picture of the listing, or better the odometer
WHY?
Because if you ever decide to sell your car to someone who believes the cars can't run for a long time you can pull out the pic and show them otherwise.:2thumbsup::2thumbsup::2thumbsup:

Not really surprising, I had a client confirm a 2004 Coupe getting the motor rebuilt in Florida with 200K on the clock. It was mostly fear mongering when it came to these cars, yes they do last this long.
