Blown radiator hoses

I bought a 4 year old QP in july with only 67.000 km on the clock. Already after 2 weeks a radiator hose deep down in the engine bay blew. 11 hours work was charged from the garage, it was a very difficult job. Eary october one more blew , also located deep down in the engine bay but the mechanic told me that at least now there where no more hoses to replace in this area of the motor bay. Yesterday another hose blew, was not able to locate the hose but it seems it´s in the upper part of the engine bay and therefor will be easier to replace. So now is my question: It seems that the only thing I can do is to get ALL hoses replaced. What material are these hoses made of? I am sure this does´t happen to 4 year od Mercs and BMWs. I have read several treads about this problem and I ask myself: Have all other owners the same problem. Must you change all hoses every 4 years? I love the car, it looks fine and drives fine but this is just not acceptable for a luxury car in the 21st century.

Wondering where the DIY guys are buying their parts in the US.
Ordered a lower radiator hose and it took 4 wks.
Would like to find a parts dealer here on the east coast that has a supply of parts for these cars. Seems so far everything is back ordered.

FYI The duo-select cars use different radiator hoses. I originally ordered the wrong hose. Now I have to wait another 4 wks.

Now replacing ALL hoses

In acordance with the chief mechanic of my garage I´m now having replaced ALL radiator hoses. Untill now one blown hose was replaced in july, one in the beginning of this month and 4 more this week (one blown, 3 with signs of starting to swell). Next week it will have replaced all the other hoses as well as hgill suggests. I´m leaving the expansion tank at the moment though. Still I have had no response from any of you owner out there about the real reason why these hoses blow. I cannot believe that this is normal. By the way, none of the hoses have been replaced with original parts!
