I have posted in the Introductions section, as I have just joined up, but I thought I would say "hello" here, too, as I have recently placed my order for a new Granturismo, so I shall be joining the ranks of Granturismo owners shortly: I shall be collecting mine from the factory some time in September.:grin2:

Nice combo! You have one hell of a stable in that sig of yours! Where do you keep them all?!
Yes, I have an '84 Targa w/ only 79k on the clock. She's a real blast to drive. Air cooled, no power steering, no abs, no traction control, 5 speed, etc. Real seat of pants / raw fun.

Garaging is a problem - they are distributed around town in various rented garages just now, but we are planning to move house in the not too distant future to somewhere out in the country where I shall be able to have garaging for all of them on site.

I have had my 911 (964) for nigh on 14 years now and done over 60,000 miles in it. One of it's greatest attributes is its size (or lack of it). Irreplaceable!

Is your 964 Midnight Blue Metallic? I used to own a 1992 Midnight Blue Metallic C2 964 with the same color interior as yours! Loved that car...
Yes - "nachtblau". It was originally supplied in this colour, but had been repainted a sort of dark grey by the time I bought it. Paint was getting tired anyway, so I had it resprayed back to original. Interior is orignal.

Sounds like the right plan, must be a headache all spread out, etc. I was just in the UK myself. Stayed in Dublin, but did a long daytrip to northern Ireland, all the way up to the north coast / giants causeway, where they shoot a lot of scenes from games of thrones. Absolutely magnificent views.
You show an 89 911 in your sig, how's that a 964? That year in the states, was the last of the 3.2 generation, like mine.
They release 964's earlier in the UK?

I seem to remember (that was a while ago) that the 964 came out in 1989, but in the US they called it a 1990 model year car...

Bingo, It must have been an early release in the US as a '90. I know 100%, that the 3.2 generation ran from '84-'89, right in-between the SC and 964.

Yes, although my 964 was supplied in October '89, it is officially a '90 MY car. Mine is an early C2, but the 964 came out originally as a C4 about a year earlier.
