may someone let me know what are the type of oils need to be changed
and would it be specific brand of oil

reading - tell us what vintage maserati you're driving. Could make a difference between the older and newer generation. If it's => 2002, then search the forum here and you'll find countless threads about oils. Perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to check out the oil change kit offered by Formula Dynamics.

Do you have an owners manual? It's all in there. As for brands, I use Lubro Moly full synth for the engine, Royal Purple for tranny, Motul 660 brake fluid, and Redline for the power steering (pentosin for F1).

Thanks a lot, honestly i do not have the manual, i bought mine as used car, i have read other posts,... just to make sure , would a need an oil for Pump F1

But Maserati recommends 10W40.

Sorry man your wrong. What I posted was from the service interval bulletin telling you what is required for the maserati service. I suggest you call your local dealer to verify. The part numbers I provided are the Maserati Part numbers.

I've had Coupe, QP, and GranSport and all manuals said 5W40.

The factory oil specified by Maserati is :

Quaker State QHorsePower 5W-40 or Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 depending on the year but they are interchangable.

I thought the maserati OEM oil recommends AGIP? Whats the deal with AGIP?

AGIP was a previously spec'd fluid for Maserati. These fluids also aren't readily available in the USA.
