Wow, what a combo, congrats!
Many complained that the new Granturismo did not have a V8 but I think you found the perfect fix for that issue, get two!

edit: I thought you kept the V8 GT.

Congratulations! You are now the owner of the car with the largest bonnet of any sports car currently in production! (Maserati's proud claim) ;)
Is that because the Viper is no longer in production?

very nice...i just got a 24 GT Trofeo a month ago and really love it...if you want more power JB4 has a plug in tuner...i ran 11.2 on the street with mine and it needs more tweaking...def a 10 second car with a real tune on it...enjoy!
Is JB4 have a website? Are there any other mods we can do to it? Upgrade turbos, exhaust etc?

Yes...

I opted for the BMC drop in filters as well...my next step is to gap the plug to .22 from .28 since I have increased boost with the JB4...i think if it all works out I can get a 10.8 out of her pretty easily...either way you get some nice gains from the jb4 map 1 and 2.

Jeeze, I can't believe JB4 has tune already for such a limited volume car.

I have two things that concern me about the new car:

1. the engine. Not because it is a V6, but because it is direct injected and turbocharged. How is the new engine shaking out, reliability-wise? It took other manufacturers years to get this right, and most still don't.

2. The air suspension. When compared to a spring and damper, air suspensions are not only inherently less reliable, they are very dynamically compromised. How is the suspension, dynamically?

I could just go drive one, I guess, but I don't really like to jerk around sales people on a car that I know I know I'm not going to buy until some more depreciation is wiped off of it.

the engine is outstanding and I have owned many different exotics and muscle cars over the years...it feels a little bit held back which is why I got the jb4 installed.

air suspension is a dream, especially on the highway, dynamically it feels much lighter on it's feet than the curb weight would suggest.

you should go drive one...just tell the salesman you might want one in the future...as far as depreciation goes, I paid 98k (2024 with 7000 miles) and my sticker is 223k.

Nice set of twins and yes, old and new, they do pair nicely! I would have liked to have Sonus Faber in my 17' GT because I think it's a better sound system over Bose but nevertheless, new generation, new toy and equipment as part of the upgrade and renewal! Maserati genesis on the GT side and from this on point forward, we have to get used to the fact that the yesterday's mentality of 'Red Brochette from a Better Vanished Time' as Geddy Lee puts it from Rush is really gone.....Sad but true (at least for now)..Enjoy the new toy!

I too have a Trofeo - be interested to know what the JB$ has delivered?

this is my best so far with lots on the table left...I am having my spark plugs gapped (.28 to .22) tomorrow and will retest. Stock I ran an 11.6, so the gains were pretty significant considering this is a plug in device and not a real tune.

The car is being held back in lots of area, most likely to make it slower than the mc20...lol.

Really love the lines of the GT Trofeo, still has the classic GranTurismo style but a bit more refined, updated, and tweaked just enough. The hood, new headlights, front fascia are really nice in my opinion. They did a great job on this car!
Performance is also very impressive right out of the box from what I’ve seen, heard, and read. Also love that it’s AWD for those of us who live in climates with some snow, ice, inclement weather/roads.

In your video which is quite cool, it appears the shifts after 1st are well into and beyond the redline. Is that the case and if so doesn’t that concern you especially in regards to any potential warranty claims with the motor on basically a brand new car??

No. The jb4 plug in does not increase redline. What you see is within stock specs when it comes to rpm limit.

Keep us posted on your overall ownership experience, car specific issues and just overall impressions as you get more time and experience with the Trofeo. I’ll be looking very seriously at one in a year or two at most if it proves to be a solid and reliable motor, car and Maserati is still financially a viable manufacturer.🤔🙏🏻💪🏻

Well, I did just take it in for a creaking rattle in my rearview mirror and they told me a plastic tab was cracked. Because that tab connects to the windshield, they ordered an entire new windshield under warranty.

2.00 plastic tab….

can’t see them being financially sound doing stuff like that. lol.

Wow!! yeah, that’s a bit silly and seems like way overkill but….🤔
