My update caused my climate control soft key to not function. Left the blower on high and would not allow me to get into the climate to adjust it. It’s been at the dealer for 3 days now. I would think a new update would solve it in a day.

Did you get a prompt? How does the update come down….satellite, cell, WiFi? Thx!

I suspect there’s something bigger going on . It sounded like Maserati had a fix for the faulty first version. But so far no download yet.

I had the prompt on the screen after I returned home from a drive. It updated over my home WiFi. The connection was good and there was no glitch during upload, according to the message it gave me after the download was complete.

Hello Forum Members. Brand new to forum and to Maserati ownership…. So, I Just got my MC20 Cielo today and - of course - the update prompt generated right when I pulled into thr garage…and now I don’t have a way to access AC controls as well as rear back up camera…. Is there a patch OTA being sent to fix these issues?I guess I call the dealer tomorrow and I am sure the wait will be long to have this taken care. Welcome any additional info I may have missed that may not be on this thread. TIA.

Mine has been at the dealer since last Wednesday with this issue. They are communicating directly with Maserati. I’ll know more tomorrow and post what I find out.

Which version of the software did you get? I am wondering if 35.34, which appears to be the most recent version, doesn't work on all cars? It works on mine perfectly, so not sure if you got a different version or if the 35.34 version still has bugs in it?

I didn't get 35.34 via OTA update. When I brought it to the dealership, they updated to 35.34 and resolved all the issues.

Back from the dealer last night. It’s a 3 hour drive for me. According to work notes, my unit had the U29.39 from my WiFi install at home. Dealer updated it to U35.34.

Everything works the way it should with the new update. Made the long list of recalls happy, as well as first year service, while in for the infotainment issue.

That's exactly what happened to mine. I disabled download via WiFi option.

I got the correct update via satellite, one time, never had an issue. I was out driving when it triggered so it did it while I was parked at Homestead Motor Speedway without a WiFi connection. Probably took no more than 15-20 minutes and never had to visit dealer.

For those who got the bad one before getting the good one, do you know if it was via WiFi or satellite? I'm wondering if there was a difference as to which program you got?

Wait...what? I didn't know the car had Satellite data ability. My update was through WiFi.

Tried both….update failed. Still a problem. Will need to go to dealer. T

I pulled in my garage last night and the update started automatically. I did not select "update now" but it went ahead with the update. Took about a half hour. The software version did not change, it's still U29.39-PROD, but as others have experienced, now the "Comfort" button is dead, and the only way to control the HVAC is with voice commands. I called Maserati and they stated it's a known issue, and they're working on a fix. I guess my question would be........If they know there's a problem, why the hell are they still sending this update out?????

I have called Maserati as well. It’s been three weeks and they are still trying to figure things out. I have tried to update via satellite and Wi-Fi. I have tried both. Still showing old revision. There has been discussion about ensuring that you have a full charge on the battery. It sounds like there may be some firmware logic that looks at battery charge prior to the download so that the download does not get interrupted. Sort of like how it works on updating a cell phone. For now, I am using the voice command to control the comfort system.

The car is always on the battery maintainer when it’s not being driven, and I had just got done driving it when the update started. I got an email from Maserati asking if there was good Internet and GPS coverage where the update was attempted, no mention of Satellite. I have excellent WIFI/Internet and GPS coverage in my attached garage. I did not try Satellite. Not sure how to do that, but even If I figure that out, there's no way to run the update again, unless I'm missing something. Doesn't it have to prompt you in order to run it again??
