Does this creaking suspension sound familiar to anyone?

I’ve sprayed everything I can think of with silicone spray. Thought it was sway bar bushings at first but no change after removing and spraying bushings.

Almost sounds like spring noise… anyone experience anything similar?

sadly my car just hit 51k miles and im having a similar noise. I did the same with the silicone grease. For me it's happening in the right rear corner. I think it may be the shock absorber ball joint as the creak is the loudest when you go over a speed bump or any sort of bump even at 1mph .

hopefully Jason chimes in and has a more clear answer.

😂 Jason loves the noise guessing game.

I suspected the shock ball joint too. Might strap the GoPro to that next and see what happens. Might try tightening it too. Also, might try torquing down the suspension arms to the frame. Sounds like metal on metal creaking.

Balljoints are a known wear item on the GTS. She is a big boned girl!!

That’s the issue! I packed some CV joint grease in there. Took it for a spin and the noise is pretty much gone. It’s making a slight creak over larger bumps but I think new joints will fix it.

I know they say the camera man never dies bro...but you're pushing the limits of this little guys safety, in this video!
I’m putting a lot of faith in these zip ties. 😂

Yeah, I've done it several times before on different cars, with success. It definitely works great, just didn't want to beat on this one too much. I'll give it another go, might be a tad easier now. Was about a year ago, last time I tried.

Just about to do my remaining front shock bush this week. Also just doing upper control arm bushes which are proving to be easier than feared so far. Secret was a 40mm bimetallic hole saw to gut the bush, then hack saw to carefully cut through the rim. All still on car.

My knocking seems to be anti roll bar links, not the bushes… probably could have left the control arm bushes for a while, but hey, it’s all good fun…

You can just jack up one wheel at a time if you want. My two wheels on the left side are in the air right now with that bolt out and shocks off… it does help to undo the anti roll bar link first, but I have not done that. You can put another jack tightened ever so slightly under the shock to take any remaining pressure from the spring off of the bolt as you undo it.

I have mixed feelings about this , on one hand it seems like bureaucracy overreach, on the other hand I see cars around here going 80 mph + on the highway with bumpers held together by ropes or tape, ready to fall off in front of you at any given time , tires with the steel belt protruding from them, and so on.. it’s not just about the idiot owner‘s car that’s the danger, it’s the risk to everyone else on the road..
