Hi,

My Granturismo 2015 has been in a garage over winter and the battery ha been on charge all time.

Now I drove it out of the garage, but when I try to start it again it won't start. Lots of error messages:
  • Check transmission Go to dealer
  • ASR unavailable Go to dealer
  • Check suspensions
  • Tyre pressure monitoring unavailable
  • Airbag failure Go to dealer
  • ESC unavailable Go to dealer

I have deconnected and reconnected the battery, but it didn't help.

Any easy solution or it just to tow it to dealer?

Regard,
Magnus

There is still a distinct possibility of a bad battery even though it’s been on a trickle charger all that time. ( all those alerts are very common to bad batteries ) They can have bad cells and incapable of holding a charge . If you have a way to test the battery under load it’ll give you an indication of how many volts and amps it has . If the battery is more than 5 years old, no matter how much it has been tricke charged , it’s probably time to replace it .

I would only trust that battery if it checks good during a load test.
