Hi, All. Proud first time, new owner of 2010 QP 4.2. When it is cold, engaging D or R produces a definite 'clunk'. It is still noticeable when the engine has reached temperature but very much reduced. Gear changes when driving are smooth and in general the car runs beautifully. Is this the sign of something more worrying or is this just Maserati gearboxes? Any help gratefully received.

Thanks, Both. I have found a garage locally who has worked on QPs and ZF boxes and have booked it in for an inspection. He actually said the same as you Mw. Oil change and new filter would probably resolve it. Keep you guys up to speed with developments, Thanks for your interest.
