Hi I just joined,
Have been looking for a Quattraporte or Jag XF for months to get the style and spec I wanted. I settled on the
4.2 normally asperated wet sump with a ZF automatic and found one 2007.
Am flying to Cal. to pick it up in the morning, Already have an upholstery shop lined up to repair a tear in the leather on the console below the rear AC controls once I get it home. I found a private party 2nd owner garage kept example. As it is a used car it can not be expected to be perfect. The car has new tires and looks very nice. There are a couple of blemishes in the paint and rash on one rim to address, the rear AC controls have a couple of buttons where the finish was removed (sticky issue was being addressed, will replace or refurb) but then it should be ready to enjoy. I've only seen the car in pictures at this point so its a leap of faith which I hope will not be misplaced.

Picked up the car and drove 1800 miles in a little over 24 hours..... Already hit a pot hole in Memphis Monday on the way to work and had a slow leak in the right front tire. Took it to Wheel Tec, they re-trued the rim. I use them on my other cars... Have to take my Lotus in (again) on Friday as I'm good at finding potholes as Memphis streets have a lot in common with a war torn runway. Same rim right front... for the Lotus this will be the second time for the same rim.
