    2010 Nissan Skyline GTR R-35.
  2. Difficulty starting up plz help

    QP5 2003-2012
Low battery voltage can do some strange things to your modules. I would check the battery voltage and how long has the fuel been sitting in your tank and how full is the tank. You may have varnished fuel or if you dont have a full tank moisture can build up causing all kinds of starting problems.
  3. Water in trunk!?

    QP5 2003-2012
I have found several times it has been the front edge of the trunk seal that does not seal properly to the rear decklid. Check with white grease or something that will leave an imprint on your trunk lid to see if it has been sealing. If not it may require adjusting.

  5. Getting "Engine Control System Fault"

    QP5 2003-2012
Not such a good idea because you have erased the fault without knowing what it is. If it is a hard fault it will return. Let us know if it returns then we can find out what is going wrong. You should invest in a decent scan tool if you are a DIY kind of person. A decent one should not run you...
  6. Need help with the air conditoning

    QP5 2003-2012
The left hand side view mirror is the location of the sensor. On the early cars it was the air conditioning control panel that caused the issue with the outside temp sensor. It was a bulletin early on.
  7. 2005 QP Air Bag System Failure

    QP5 2003-2012
To even read the fault code you are going to need an SD3 I have not seen an independent scan tool that reads airbag and abs for these cars. This is a safety issue and I would highly recommend taking it to the dealer. They should charge you 1 hour labor to read the fault code. Post and let us...
  8. Getting "Engine Control System Fault"

    QP5 2003-2012
You would have to check the fault codes for anyone to give you an idea of what it could be. Did you just get gas if so make sure your gas cap is sealed. Post the fault code and we can give you an idea of what is going on.

  11. Rear Deck Removal

    Modern Maserati
Are you talking about the rear parcell shelf. If it is the rear parcell shelf then the rear center arm rest needs to be removed first. then the rear seat back then you can find the bolts that hold down the rear parcell shelf.
  12. Long time no see... Update

I have replaced an engine in a coupe for the same exact reason. Lifter noise that wouldnt go way. Glad to hear that Maserati stepped up to the plate.
  13. Loose Paddles

    Modern Maserati
This is correct you have to remove the airbag and then remove the steering wheel to gain access to the paddle screws. While you are there I would suggest putting a touch of loctite on the very small allen screws that hold the paddles in. If you are working with the airbag system be sure to...
  14. 2002 Coupe Help and advise needed

    Member Introductions
Since you do not have service records I would recommend doing a full service. Brake fluid flush, transaxle oil service, coolant flush, air filter, and cabin filter. Followed with a vehicle inspection. You want some one to check the condition of the drive belt and the condition of the brakes and...
  15. Rotors

    Modern Maserati
I have seen parking brakes get rusted and stick. I can be pretty scary trying to brake it free. I would start up the car get it warm and move it a little if you can. Then park it again. That should prevent it from sticking
