Wow that is early but I can see good parking is at a premium and the weather cool. I am leaving at 3AM for Scottsdale with my Maserati. Had a one day delay in leaving as I was waiting for "Drier for the AC system". I had it flushed and refilled along with her 30K service.
MapQuest says 25 hours and 1468 miles for the route I am taking. Mostly all 2 lane black tops through the high desert and mountains. Done the trip 5 times in the last year so I have my favorite route for the 18 hour endurance haul. Getting late in the season as they will most likely be frost crossing the mountains early heading southeast out of PDX. First 2 hours is all freeway but hours 3 and 4 is remote mountain driving until the sun comes up around Prineville, OR. My fastest time is 18 hours 17 minutes and I am hoping to crack 18 in the Maserati. Have a new more remote short cut for 2 hours heading South of Burns, OR heading to Battle Mountain NV. Reports are good and these roads tends to be way better than they look on the map. Smooth pavement and good striping and no traffic or towns!
I did this trip in 19.5 in a MINI Van with the wife and 2 cats. Lack of top speed was the killer.
Not sure if the car will be detailed or not. I might just bring it with 1500 miles of road wear on her set up like I ran her. In my fast trip in my MINI JCW I hit 3 birds at speed plus it was late spring so lots of bugs. Car is black and it looked like it had just run a high speed rally.
I forgot it was this weekend and had already but a ticket back to WA for Sat. morning for $100 on US Air. They wanted $600 to change it so I used miles on Alaska to attend the show. Hopefully see you all Sat. with no flat tires or break downs. About the only 2 towns with service along my route is PDX and Vegas. Just need to make sure I have GPS and Radar. I forgot the lighter port is an odd size! See you all Early Sat. morning. Can try and keep the maser's all together if we get there early.

No stinking auto's in this house. We all row the gears.
I'll be out of town so will miss this month's C&C. I went to several last year and really enjoyed all the cars that show up. I was frequently only 1 of 2 or 3 Maserati's to show up. Good to hear more are showing interest.
Hello, I've only had my Maserati for about 6 months. So I'm new to this forum. I was wondering where you guys take your cars other than FM dealer. I'm getting a "suspension system failure light". ;(.
Thanks in advance.
oh, and I'm also interested in those meetings here in Phoenix, AZ!
I highly recommend Sports & Collector Car Center in Tempe. Great people and service rates.
I have all my cars worked on exclusively by them. They are located near the 202 & Priest.
Phone No. 480-968-5000. You can check them out on-line also @ www.sccarcenter.com.
I went to Sports Car & Collector to get my car serviced. Everything went well. Except that the green service light was never reset. I was supposed to come in a week after I got my service done so they can reset the light. But it's already March, and I still have that green light coming on. I got my car serviced in November last year!!!. Every time I called and speak to JOE from Sports Car & Collector, he tells me "let me call you back" but never does. I'm starting to think he never even changed the oil in my car....
I hate bringing up very old threads.. but I don't want to start another Arizona thread.
Surprised there hasn't been any posts here since 2014!!
Am based in Chandler, driving 2014 White GTS
I know I see another white GTS around, and a black one this morning on Dobson/Price/101 ( I was the red fiat abarth)
Regularly go the Chandler Cars and Coffee, must get up to Scottsdale one sometime.
Just about to get a lot of work done on my GTS ahead of all the shows/c&c for the winter months.
Gents, I’m in the market for a Ghibli but a bit worried about the maintenance costs. Are the only reputable service centers the dealers in Arizona or any other less expensive shops? Your help is greatly appreciated.
