So it looks like the biggest delay in getting this car has been them trying to figure out what the vibration in the front it. It went to one place and they tried rebalancing the wheels, and apparently even changing a tire (although they were brand new). Finally they listened and found that one of the front rims had a little bend in it so then we had to find a reputable place around here that does wheel repair. Found a place and was to get the 1 wheel repaired, but the dealer I'm getting the car from feels bad for this being such a long process so he decided instead to have the recondition and refinish all of the wheels so that there are no issues or problems with any of them. I couple of them were curbed pretty bad from the previous owner so this was something I was planning to do anyways, but now I don't have to pay to do it. The wheel place says they should all be done no later than Tuesday, so the waiting game continues.
So to date they have done new rotors and pads on all 4 corners, new tires all around, oil and filter change, fixed the tiny bit of rust that was forming on the lower mesh grill inserts, removed the tiny dents that were in various little spots around the car and buffed and polished the entire car. Having all wheels fixed and refinished should be the final piece and I should be getting a car that's in pretty good shape.
