The hose go bad from the inside out..The coolant flowing through the engine acts like an electrolyte in a battery and generates a small electrical charge that eats up rubber hose from the inside out...Take the oil hose and slice it long ways with razor blade and spread it apart...There will most likely be a ton of small cracks on the inside..Jason
