Additionally this individual told me that this occurs because of over revving the engine at cold temperatures?? Things do not add up with this individual, it has been taken to foreign cars italia in charlotte, awaiting their feedback.

Good choice.

While I do not go above 50% throttle or 50%RPM when the engine is not up to temp, I don't think it would break all 40 rings. Or did it magically only break one ring per piston? And even if it did, your symptoms indicate something different.

The diagnosis is in:

Great news. After installing mass air flow and adapting the variators and resetting faults the car runs normal.

Total was less than 10% the original quote, thank you all for your feedback and advice

Thank you for following up. It's shocking that someone would tell that you pretty much need a new engine. Did you have FCI redo the PPI? It might be a good idea so you know a little more about the condition of your car. Who knows what that idiot missed.

I actually had the entire car serviced when I had it there, wanted to let someone who knew what they were looking at really go over the car

Just a question, did you go back to the idiot who told you 8rings were broken and your sleeves scored and advise him he was a crook and a charlatan. He should be reported the thieving basket.

I have a 2003 with a blown head gasket and have been told it would cost more to replace the head gasket than to by a new engine. Is that true? Also if anyone has a link to parts to replace head gasket I would appreciate any help!

Jason, according to your signature, you're best qualified to answer the question, and given my observation of your responses in similar threads, had Skijt started a new thread in the first place, I'm all but sure you would have told him to search the forum or google.
