Yes, that's the hood I'm looking for but at $7k for a damaged one, seems really high to me. I found a fiberglass one at CarId (see link below) for around $4,700 but am wondering if someone knows of another vendor or is selling one cheaper than that.
The damaged one is a OEM hood which is why I think why they are attempting to charge so much. You could try to write them as well. As far as aftermarket I would just caution you on fitment issues. A lot of aftermarket parts fit like garbage, huge gap all the way around the hood line. Just don't want you to get stuck with something that doesn't look good. If nothing else if you choose to purchase one, mock it up first before anything else. This way you can send it back if the fitment is terrible.
Hey i have searching for these hoods , and novitec sells them cheaper. I think the fiber option is 2500€ and the carbon fiber one is supposed to be around 5500€. Also you might aswell check this early styled hood. I myself have been searching for a novitec/ mc hood for a reasonable price for a long while now but had no luck.Hope this helps. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F183155438977
We do offer MC Corsa Sport Hoods for the Maserati GT that is very nice... we often have them in stock.
Keep in mind when looking that while most of the hoods pictured online look similar, quality and fitment are usually very different and typically the price you pay is going to be a determining factor there.
