To tune or not to tune

Phil from Fabspeed here.

I am trying to stay in front of any objections that Maserati owners might have when it comes to tuning. We have seen get benefits when it comes to the tuning aspect of Maserati's. I have heard many Maserati dealership do not ask ask aftermarket parts as long as the warranty issue is less than $1000. So I guess I am asking what is holding you back?

Garage
I was told point blank by my dealer that ANY modifications to the car MUST be reported to Maserati. There was no $$ limit. That makes sense given that EVERY repair takes quite a coordinated effort to get Maserati to pay for it. . That might be what is holding folks back that still have a car under warranty.

Im not tuning because the main problem is with the gearbox auto upshifting at redline and shifting way early. Id do it if rev limiter was moved to 7500-8k and the gearbox didn't auto up change

That is a very good point For the high-end speed and Horse power. We have seen great gains in the off the line, low-end gains; with the tune. With that being said if you are looking at the redlining and the early gear box shifting as your only form of benchmarking of driving then I can't help you. Sorry

That is understandable and this tune might not be for everyone. However if you want a little more power and performance in the mid range you can receive it.
