Newby that slightly scared to death!

I have just purchased a Maserati spyder Cambiocorsa 2003, for my sons. Can anyone tell me tips on where to find cheaper parts. I live in Savannah ga. Being a woman, (especially a blond British woman) I find garages try to take me for an expensive ride. I would appreciate nuggets of your wisdom.

If you’re looking for cheap parts, you’ve bought the wrong car. Very few aftermarket parts available. If you don’t take it to a Maserati specialist that is familiar with this vintage, you will be sorry.

You can easily spend more than what you purchased the car for in maintenance and repairs.

Yes, I'm aware of that, I was looking for the best sources for reasonably priced parts. I've read on here sourcing parts from overseas and taking them to your dealership to fit would be far cheaper.

I recommend sticking with well known parts suppliers, such as Ricambi, Formula Dynamics, etc. Our "friends" in the far east have polluted the internet with knock-off parts and you really have to be careful. Ebay can also be your friend, but you need to ask questions, or be familiar with the seller. Congratulations on your purchase....welcome to the club!

The vendors mentioned already are the big players. In terms of who to service the car; hopefully can chime in with a good indy repair shop near you. Maserati dealers aren't going to be keen on you supplying parts. There must be some good indy places for most work and maybe one or two have Maserati diagnostic equipment for the advanced repairs? Usually, a good indy will be able to get the parts at a competitive prices to what you can find online. Maserati dealer may not have a lot of parts in stock beyond the annual service items for your car as it is.
