4200 gransport clutch engagement

Wanted opinions on the clutch engagement of this car and how it should feel. I drive my first one today while shopping around. My only experience with flappy paddles is my Porsche Cayman S with a DCT.

The car felt like it slipped a lot taking off even in sport mode. Once even to the point that I was revving to make it move/engage quicker and once it finlly engaged it rocketed off and I had to back off in normal traffic. Not sure if that was user error a over slipping clutch.

Just wanted general thought on how these should drive since there’s no new ones to benchmark against.

You can't really compare a DCT transmission to these transmissions...That is much newer technology in the DCT.. It should slip till about 1100-1200 RPMs and then be fully engaged...Jason
