Very nice looking. I saw on another thread about CF remotes. The writer said CF reduces his signal, between the remote and the car, noticeably. Would this have a reduced signal range because of the CF?

Most key fobs are pretty short range to begin with, often times designed with just a ten-foot range, they also are a transmitter. The shark fin, on the other hand, is a receiver and designed for much longer range and usually various types of signals (satellite, HD Radio, DAB+, standard RF, etc).

The manufacturer that we get these from is very good at making the carbon as thin as possible. Most covers are only 6mm thick. So you should not have any issues when you place this carbon fiber cover over your shark fin if you do not use satellite. That is the one area we have seen some issues on other vehicles.

Let us know if you have any other questions
