I sincerely wish I had the time and mechanical skills to perform such modifications to a car just because I feel like it. I rarely check this site but lately I have been checking every day to see updates to your thread!

I completely agree! I've always been a DIY kind of guy but there is no way I could even touch what the OP is doing to his car. I wish I had the skills, knowledge and confidence, not to mention to the tools to tackle a job like that.

Thanks for your input on the seats, I haven't gotten to them yet but would probably refer back to the OEM seats as if the air bags and the seat belt sensor.

Yes I'll be swapping the springs for stiffer ones, I'm still trying to figure out the spring rate on the OEM to be able to base it out of that.

The ECU I have already ship it to the tuner, he is aware of the plans on the mods, once he brakes into the ECU he can adjust even remotely from the OBDII plug.

I got more pictures and updates from yesterday and today, I'll post them tomorrow.
I'm flatter by your comments, I am a truly enthusiast so I think; and very much enjoy projects, I have been turning wrenches since I was a little boy and I cannot get enough of it.
I've done very similar jobs on multiple Ferraris, Lamborghinis and one other Maserati.

Maserati trofeo already figured out suspension upgrade, if you can just get your hands on the specs....the easiest way may be to get the suspension components from an MC, but they will not offer you the adjustability you may need. Of course, there is FD:

http://www.formuladynamics.com/produ..._absorbers.php

you could also add a brake proportioning/bias valve.

There is a guy on here who just bought a few trofeo cars, maybe he could send some info your way.... I think he posted under my Maserati Trofeo race schedule thread

Nice work!

Those seem like a great option but I would probably just swap the coil springs for stiffer ones and leave the Skyhooks in there.
I did this on my QP and it worked great.

Yes, my friend did the same thing on his, shorter and stiffer springs. No issues with skyhook.

I have been busy trying to fit some carbon rotors on the front and figuring out what suspension to run.

Although I may just get the BBK from Formula Dynamics which I find great I would really like to run carbon all of the way around which I would have to fabricate custom hats front and rear to fit Ferrari part number rotors. We have done this before on Gallardos.

I just order drastically stiffer springs front and rear, even stiffer than the ones I installed on my QP Sport GT, will report soon.

Wow the weight the battery takes up alone!! Great idea for the kill switch.
