Convertible owners - I am considering the wind deflector - looking for input from people who have used one. I think it retails for around $800 and there is one on ebay for $695.

Is it worth the effort and price?
How quickly can it be removed?
How effective is it?

Thanks in advance for any input!
(and PM me if you have a used one you want to sell)

No experience with it in a Maser but I bought one for an SLK we had. Night and day. It totally eliminated the buffeting you get at speed. It was easily removable for days you want more air flow. That was never. It stayed in place until I sold the car. I kept it and sold it for slightly less then I paid for it. I got a deal while in Canada on one. Curious to hear what Maser owners have to say.

I have one and it's great. It's a nice improvement that makes me enjoy the car a whole lot more. Much less wind blowing and it keeps the seatbelts in the back from flapping in the wind when your rear windows are down. For assembly / disassembly, it took some practice at first but I can now get it in and out in about 30-45 seconds.

It folds up and stores away in a nice blue cordura case with the Maserati logo stitched in white. I got it from the dealer. There's a leading-edge piece that you attach to it...this piece is the tricky part to install without practice or knowledge of the technique (do it while folded). It doesn't fit in the case with this piece but will fit in the trunk outside the case. Sometimes I just leave it out of the case so I can quickly deploy it. It only takes a minute. I just used it today to go for a drive with my wife. A hat is cheaper but it's a nice accessory and looks great.

Hey folks, since selling my GTC, I'm also selling my wind deflector & case. It was $800 + tax new. It's in perfect condition and I would be willing to sell it for $650. Please PM me if you are interested.
