Closing side mirrors automatically

Is there a way to do this when you shut off car?

Can't find anything in the manual.

Not automatically with the engine shutdown, only by turning the mirror adjustment knob.

If you close them before you shut down, then turn the knob back to open/center position, they'll open up automatically the next time you start the car. Best I can offer.

To me, that button seems to be one of the most feeble parts of the GT, ready to break off and/or or stop working at any minute .. I don’t know why I get that impression but just have a bad sense about it so I avoid using that fold in-fold out feature unless I absolutely must. I keep thinking once they fold in that’s when the mechanism or button is going to break and get stuck in that position .
Fortunately, I have not yet had a reason to do that, there is enough room between parking spots here where the risk of your side mirrors getting hit is pretty slim .
Heck, I even hesitate adjusting the mirrors at all, given how “weak” the button feels, but since I am the only one who drives this car, not much need to mess with that function either .
