Gran Turismo 2011 4.7 Transmission & Diff

Purchased my beautiful 2011 4.7 Maserati Granturismo with 65,000 Km a month ago. I've been slowly performing maintenance to this car as the weather permits here in Toronto Canada. I've replaced the spark plugs, cabin air filter, engine air filter,TPMS sensors and installed the X Pipe. I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction on which Transmission oil and Diff oil I should go with. The Manual says GEAR BOX OIL 10.03 Liters but no brand or weight of transmission oil. Diff oil is Shell Spirax S 75w-140 ........ NAPA sell it for $14.29 L part# 500006951. Could AMSOIL be compatible as Shell Spirax S. Thanks Steve

Ford also used the ZF 6HP26 and Shell made the Ford marketed Mercon SP fluid which is basically the same as Lifeguard 6. You can find the Mercon SP Trans fluid for about $8.00/quart on Amazon...

The automatic Diff takes about 1 liter which is just over 1 quart. Pretty simple to drain and fill. Get a cheap little hand fluid pump and pump it in untill it starts to flow out. If you can get the shell stuff great, otherwise any full synthetic 75w140 should be ok.

There was a great write up about the zf filter and fluid change with part numbers a while back in the QP5 forum.

These little pumps are $5 to $10 and worth every penny when filling a diff.
