New '18 MC

I finally decided to buy a GT after years of thinking about it. The 18's styling took a little while to grow on me, but I really appreciate the subtle new styling. With the updated MTC+ and this being the last year of production, it prompted me to pull the trigger. I had to drive about 3 hours away to find it, but it's almost the exact spec I would have ordered, the right color/wheels with all of the carbon fiber options except the seat backs. The MTC+ interface is very responsive and better than the one in my '18 Raptor - anyone want to buy an almost new Raptor?
The first drive to work was just AMAZING. I can't get enough of the sound, but it's nice to be able to quiet it down as needed (driving it through my neighborhood) This is one of very few cars I've owned that has 100% approval from my wife. That goes a LONG way! We have trips planned all summer with it. She thinks it's absolutely gorgeous and I can't blame her!
I've scheduled a light tint for the windows (legal) and I ordered the FD 22/25 spacers, but I can't think of anything else it needs.
I look forward to enjoying the car!!!

Looks great, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I've taken several trips with mine and it has been up and down the east coast...

She's gorgeous! Congratulations!! I've got an 18 MC Vert, and couldn't think of another car right now that could make me more happy!! I'd be curious to see your before and afters with the spacers!

Maybe some paint protection film and ceramic coating and really that's all you need. Enjoy!

Congrats!

I would Highly recommend DBW (drive-by-wire) module and if you're looking for even more aggressive sound, the Larini sport cats. The combination of the DBW and sport cats adds a sizable improvement to the performance capabilities of the GT and makes drivability that much more exciting.

2013 Maserati GT MC Convertible: Bianco Eldorado/Nero; Carbon Aero PK; Int. Carbon-Evo I+II; 20% tint; clear bra; Larini sport cats; DBW
2008 Ferrari F430 Spider: Avus Bianco ext/Red leather int; Daytona seats; Carbon dash trim and steering wheel; 20% tint; clear bra; Sport exhaust (LOUD!)
2008 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano: Nero/Cuoio; F1 superfast trans; Daytona seats
2010 Lambo Gallardo Spider LP560-4: Nero Noctis/Nero
2019 Ferrari Portofino: Rosso Corsa/Nero

Thanks everyone!! I took my co-worker out to lunch today in the MC. He has an '18 GT3 6 speed and an '81 930. He said the MC was the best sounding car he's heard in long time! I don't think I'll be touching the exhaust, I plan on leaving it stock.
I do have an appointment for a full correction and ceramic coating (Modesta). I'm going to ceramic coat the wheels myself when I put the spacers on, I'll be sure to post some pics of the spacers. I am thinking of the DBW module, but I do like the play in the throttle. I have one in my Raptor because it has terrible throttle response without it, but so far I'm ok with the MC's response.
Here's a (crappy) interior picture.

Congrats on the new GT MC, Blacks always a good choice!

Feel free to reach out to us if you did have any questions on any of the products. We do have a great video of the sound improvement on the MC and while the factory system is impressive, there's more fun to be had for sure

For now though, get some miles on that Italian beauty and enjoy!

Best Regards

Thanks! I'm amazed at the difference in Highway vs City.....I averaged 22mpg when I drove it home and about 13 (rounding up) since then! SO worth it!
