Anyone have an Autel TS608 I could loan?

I *really* don't want to spring the $500+ for a new one just to reset my TPMS sensors.

Does anyone have one I could borrow for a week? I'll pay both way shipping + any fees to borrow the unit.

Thanks!

Ron

I went ahead and picked one up for 534 all-in free shipping. I figured I would have paid half that at the dealer just to diag and reset my error codes!

Can confirm 100% it will reset the green wrench and service coupon expired message.

The unit is well built, high quality. The interface is super nice. First time I tried to access non tpms features of Maserati vehicle type, it was missing. But after seeing the 100+ updates it wanted to download, Maserati Service was one of them, and voila, now it recognizes my VIN and allows me to perform some extra functions.

Detected low battery TPMS sensor, now I know exactly which one to replace.

The kit came with 8 brand new sensors, not sure if they're the correct 433 mhz ones yet. If I can program them, this purchase definitely will pay for itself!

Looking forward to being able to finally change my own oil and not worry about having to pay the dealer to reset the service warnings.

Turns out the new (included with the kit) MX Sensors support both 315 and 433 mhz in the same sensor!

The tips are rubber, but Autel sells the metal kits for ~$12 for 4. Since I currently have the metal type, I'm going to pick these up.

Looks like I may be able to replace them without removing the tire completely from the rim. A couple Youtube videos illustrate deflating the tire and pressing down to access the sensor. I'm not sure if I'll need to rebalance the tires, I likely will.

I didn't know Advance Auto Parts stocked these in store.... Snagged a box last night for $12 + 20% off Advance auto's website for store pick up.

I've already re-programmed four MX sensors to match all four of my current sensor IDs. Everything is ready to go, just need to swap them out now.

What model of the Autel did you pick up? MX808, MK808?

I looked into it, possibly need a beam breaker to assist with. Decided going to have a tire shop do it since the rebalance is included.

My local Goodyear shop has been changing tires for me for years. They quoted me 115$ to replace all sensors. When I went in, the manager (not the one who quoted me) said it was 285 per wheel, even though I explained I have my own pre-programmed sensors.

Ended up calling a local custom wheels shop (they sell the oversizes chrome wheels). I trust them and they have the proper equipment to not damage the rims. They've changed tires for me in the past for 50/tire with rebalance. Sensor change is same price, so about 200 bucks to swap it. Just haven't had time to go over there. Planning on it this week.

Did this end up working for you? I'm looking to buy the same for my 2011 gts when I replace the front tires soon. We have another car that needs them too, so it would almost pay for itself with just the 8 sensors included - assuming 4 will fit each. Did the clamp on or the screw in ones fit? Thanks for being the guinea pig
