Question Cranks but won't start

Much progress had occurred since the last update, we were able to remove the old engine and install the new one in a matter of hours. when we finally installed and plugged in most electrical components and the new ECU. When we went to start it, it wouldn't. We didn't install the radiators/fans, power steering had no fluid, secondary air pump is not hooked up, the cats were not hooked up, and the wheels were off the ground, and only had 8 quarts of oil in it. Our main question is, do any of these factors not make it not start?

Is there fuel pressure? Are the injectors firing? is there spark? If the ECU is hooked up, do you have the OBD harness hooked up to read the codes? I know there is a security code function that may need to be programed, but I'm not sure if it will even turn over if that's the case. Those are the places I would start. Your project is looking great! Keep it up!

Thanks for the response! We just checked for gas pressure and found the reset button, everything checks out, ish... The engine seems to have electrical issues due to the different ECU installed. We will try to install the old ECU and see if that does the trick!

Your new ECU is not aligned with your body module therefore it will not start...You can't use a used engine ECM in these cars..Jason
