Replacing Footrest

My 2012 GTS is missing the rubber part of the footrest.
I am assuming previous owner kicked it off or something..

I've checked ebay - and seems I can get some second hand footrests from 2008 GTS.
I'm guessing they are compatible with 2012 - anyone know for definite one way or the other?

Can't see any reason why not, but not a good opportunity to upgrade to Aluminium?

I had thought to do that - but many of the ones I've looked at require the old rubber to stick on to, i have just the carpet with holes through to the metal where the rubber clipped onto..
Suppose I could take the part off and bolt on an aluminium one.

Nice
I already metal for the others pedals.
Wonder if anyone ships just the dead pedal?

Hmm I got mine from here:

https://ultimatepedals.com/index.html

Very nice quality and simply fitted with some self tappers for the foot rest nuts / bolts for the other two

I may have used some 3M impact tape as well.

Maybe I need to buy a set of aluminum brake pedals and mount them on the passenger side so when my wife panic - brakes with both feet as I'm driving the car into turns in spirited manner, it'll save the carpet from imprints and wear
