Love my GT but missing my GS - Please Help

Hey there,

Recently I purchased a black GT MC and I love it, looks great rides well and drops birds from trees when I rev her... I guess I just don't like the MC in black and would have preferred blue....

But....

I keep thinking about my GS and am looking at a GS Victory.

The background is that I had the GS in Europe where my speed limit was based purely on physics so the experiences were amazing, intense and unforgettable. She had the DBW and straight pipes.

Now I am in FL, USA where driving above the limit risks all sorts of things and even thinking about the speeds I used to drive border on felonious.

Is she is like the ex you keep thinking about, do I just need to move on?

Dear ML, I need Maserati counseling and I need to talk about it.

EDIT: Bonus question to whomever can name the place in this picture.

Dear GranSport Maserati lover,

you have come to the right place. We are sure that you are correct in your experiences with your GranSport. We know it must of been very difficult in the upcoming months of leaving her, to realize, there's really none like her.

Her smells, sounds, and feel unfortunately cannot be replicated by another girl. The perfume she wore was partly placed there by you, but was also her own. You've traded her in for a younger lover.

We always think that a younger beautiful version is what we need in life. Sadly it doesn't always work out. Sure she's drop dead gorgeous, has curves to kill over, the attitude of a female UFC fighter. What's there not to love? But, the feeling is not the same when you sit at home alone out of the driver's seat. The newer version doesn't make you happy in the same way.

Can you replicate this feeling once again? Can you bring back those emotions and feelings? The answer is, maybe......it's not definitive unfortunately.

You can grab another twin like her, do the same modifications your Previous had. But there's a chance you might not duplicate the same nostalgic moments you had in the beautiful lands of Europe.

We'd love to give you a guarantee that you could, but unfortunately we cannot.

If you'd like please sit and relax on our couch here at ML and tell us all about it. We to know those feelings, almost as if high, you've enjoyed. Some were taken away without reason, some of us shamefully couldn't take it anymore, but all of us were in love.

Absolutely, beautiful car. I love it.

I cannot tell you where you're at in the last photo because I'm admiring the rear end of your girl....lol.

Unfortunately, other than the Caribbean, I haven't been outside of the U.S. Maybe I will make a trip to Europe for the SportsMaserati forum guys sometime soon. I would really like to meet Voicey and Chris in their native habitat. (I don't know if you're active on that forum of not).

Very sad tale in deed friend.

Very sad tale in deed friend.
Decals were an annual event 1st when we went to Le Mans (just to see) then to Monza to be on the track (friend was the Technical director) then to Stelvio Pass.

They were removable as in Europe you do get in trouble when you have numbered livery as police think you are in the cannonball or racing on public roads. One year in Germany the group was pursued by 5 cars and a helicopter, they wanted to impound all the cars. Luckily a dutch guy spoke some German (go figure) and they talked themselves out of that one (missed that year).

We would usually meet in Lyon or northern france then start the escapades with a Tom Tom itinerary loaded onto all our cars and had two way radios to assist in passing blind corners.

Hard core to say the least.

Amazing another winner! Europe has the most amazing driving experiences in the world, HANDS DOWN and drop the mic.

Actually I recommend looking into some of these European driving experience trips:

For example: Maserati | Services | Driving Courses | Italian Lifestyle Experience | Introduction
