How to replace LEAK Detection Pump on 2008 Maserati Quattroporte?

My check engine light came on and codes read that my gas cap needs replaced but then also I may need a leak detection pump. Gas cap is in great condition and need to change out leak detection pump. Can someone direct me to where is it located and the safest way to remove and install ?

Thanks.

Jason, I thank you for the help. Do you have a step by step to access it? Or photos where it is located?
I am trying to order the part and replace it myself but I don't know where to look and how to. Thanks.

I honestly just get people started on here...I can possibly walk everyone through every possible repair...Sorry...If you don't know what to look for or how to do it then maybe let a professional do it...It maybe easier....Jason
